Utility Relocation

• Overhead Pole Line Relocation – coordinated with Dominion VA Power to have existing poles reset at a deeper elevation due to proposed grade cuts.

Washington Gas Transmission Encroachment Coordination

• Coordinated with Washington Gas for permission to cross existing gas transmission easement with proposed improvements including new road, utility duct banks and wet utilities.

Mainline Services

• Coordinated with Dominion VA Power, Verizon, and Washington Gas for service designs and easements required.
  • Completed conceptual layout including conduit and device locations for each utility to follow while completing their respective designs.
  • Worked with adjacent landowners for additional easements needed.

Installations

• Coordinated with several contractors to obtain bids for the installation of the conduit required by each utility.
• Worked with contractor and civil engineer for the installation of conduit system to facilitate utility install.
• Coordination with Dominion VA Power, Verizon and Washington Gas construction departments for the installation of all utilities.

Traffic Signals

• Coordinated with Dominion VA Power and Comcast to provide services to new traffic signals throughout the project.
